Short take from someone who runs harvesters full season: productivity is up. The machine moves smooth, cycles faster and Opti‑5G keeps setups simple so you waste less time fiddling. They talked energy-efficient drives and that should cut fuel use; early signs are good but I want months of data. Availability looks ok, Ponsse has done volume before and parts network seems covered. Downsides - 5G sounds great but in real remote patches you’ll still rely on local systems, so don’t expect cloud magic everywhere. Price? Ask your dealer, not on the briefing. For training rookies the Active Crane is gold, they learn faster and hit acceptable production sooner. All in all more productivity, cautious on connectivity and real fuel numbers.
